Overview

Shanghai-based robotics company founded in 2015. Fourier built its business on rehabilitation devices and says it has served more than 2,000 organizations and hospitals in over 60 countries and regions. It entered humanoids with GR-1, followed by GR-2 (2024) and GR-3 (2025), its first humanoid positioned as a 'Care-bot' for rehab, eldercare and human interaction. In July 2026 it added the wheeled dual-arm GRW and the small GR Mini and GR Nano, alongside the LiDAR-equipped GR-3C and the open-source research robot N1.

Strengths

  • Clinical know-how and hospital channels from its rehab-device business
  • Care-oriented humanoid design such as the 55-DoF GR-3
  • Existing partnerships with Japanese universities (Kobe, Nagoya)
